Additionally, two new rotors are available in conjunction with the Allegra X-30 instruments: the SX4400, a 1.6-litre swinging-bucket rotor and the S6096 microplate rotor, that accommodates 3 x 2 microplates or 2 x 1 deep-well plates.

Fixed-angle and microplate rotors provide the highest performance specifications in the centrifuge’s class: 18,000 rpm and 30,000 x g for the fixed-angle rotor, and 4,700 rpm and 2,721 x g for the microplate rotor.
