I have been the elected Chair of the FCB since 2018 and my fundamental role is to facilitate planned membership meetings and provide communications to associated stakeholders.

The continued success of the FCB is based on the commitment and interaction of its member certification bodies. The FCB will be celebrating its 20th year in 2024 and its core benefit is strength in numbers. The FCB is much more about debating accreditation issues, it is a community of CBs coming together to problem solve and consider the integrity and success of management system certification and the associated commercial aspects of running the business.

Each meeting is also attended by invited bodies such as UKAS to allow an open forum and two-way feedback on matters of mutual interest.

The Federation of Certification Bodies is free to join by certification bodies holding accreditation recognised by the IAF MLA.
